Dr. Kathleen Schaetzel, DDS earned her dental degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Her favorite aspect of dentistry is helping patients get out of pain and improving their overall oral health and quality of life. Having grown up in Lawrence, Kansas, Dr. Schaetzel is proud to serve patients in Topeka, where her father worked for 35 years in the local hospital system. She values building meaningful relationships with her patients and wants each person to know that she takes the time to get to know them as an individual, not just as a patient. Dr. Schaetzel is also Nitrous Oxide Certified, helping provide a more comfortable experience for patients who may feel anxious about dental treatment. Outside the office, Dr. Schaetzel enjoys taking her three-legged dog swimming and spending time outdoors.
